Crosstown rivals MHS and East Catholic squared off in both girls and boys hoops Monday night.  We have photos and more below as well as lots of other news and notes further down. The MHS girls beat EC at home while in the boys game East stayed undefeated before a standing room only crowd in the Eagles' gymnasium. Check out the MHS sports Facebook page for more photos.

It's Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in Bailey Auditorium and it's a big deal. 
Saturday (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) --  Youth Sports Clinic at Mahoney Rec.
Saturday -- Silk City Chorus annual show at Bailey Auditorium (performances at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m.)
Saturday (5 p.m.) -- Roast Pork Dinner at Second Congregational Church
Monday -- Town offices, libraries and schools closed for Martin Luther King Day.
Tuesday (6:30 p.m.) -- Town's 33rd annual MLK Celebration at Bailey Auditorium (and here's even more info).

Chamber Chat
The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce hosted a Legislative/Town Leader Forum Wednesday with about 75 people in attendance, including Mayor Moran, State Reps Tweedie and Rojas, Director of Tax Assessments John Rainaldi and moderator Pete Gioia of CBIA. You can see a replay here.
