MPS This Week: Sept. 6-8
The summer passed quickly and we are excited to begin another school year. I hope students return rested, rejuvenated and ready to learn, as I can assure you that our teachers and other district employees are enthused and ready to go. Our goal continues to be to partner with families and community members to ensure that all students emerge from our school system as lifelong learners and contributing members of society. By working together we can make this happen.
-- Superintendent Matt Geary

Cheney Build Draws Raves
The Cheney Building was closed a decade ago but has been completely renovated. We have lots of photos on the district Facebook page and you can read all about it in the latest edition of Better Manchester Magazine, which also has a story about our new Office of Equity and Partnerships, which is staffed by those pictured below.
Visitor Protocol

We want family/community members to feel welcome when they visit our schools but also need to have proper security safeguards, so please review these guidelines.
Ready To Go
Speeches by Mayor Jay Moran and Teacher of the Year Lara Wallmark of Keeney were among the highlights from Convocation on Friday, when staff from throughout the district assembled at MHS. We have more pics on the district Facebook page.
Humans of Manchester (Public Schools)

The gallery was quiet most of the summer but we will start adding to it again this week. Please visit Instagram and/or Facebook to see our archives.
