MPS This Week: Nov. 13-17
There are parent-teacher conferences at schools throughout the district this week and I hope these are meaningful and valuable. If every parent and guardian knows what their child is learning, how their child is doing, and how they can best help out from home -- everyone will benefit.  We are working hard on building strong partnerships with our families and throughout the community because we know that working together is the key to strengthening both our school system and society at large.

Veterans Honored
Keeney Elementary held an assembly and invited family members who were or are members of the military. We also have photos from Saturday's Veteran's Day parade on the district Facebook page and a related item if you scroll down.
From lling To Iceland
Jess Loucks, who works in the Illing Middle School media center, is also a consultant with Google and traveled over the weekend to give a presentation in Iceland. You can read more here (if you know Icelandic).
