Illing Middle School community.
STARS BUCKS

PIE ORDERS DUE BY FRIDAY

The Lyman Orchards fundraiser concludes Friday, with all order forms and money turned into the office (or student's homeroom teacher) by then.  This is the PTSA's major fundraiser for the year and our success depends on everyone's participation. Also, the top three sellers will be awarded gift certificates! Questions? Contact kaylegagnon@gmail.com.
Also:
Don't forget about Box Tops for Education.
Or the A+ School Rewards program with Stop & Shop.

COURTYARD LOOKIN' GOOD!

The newly-cleaned courtyard is often used as an "outdoor classroom" and will soon be even prettier, as it will be home to a a beautiful ceramic tree sculpture. Want to know more and find out how you can help? Click here.
By the way, click here to find out what the students in the photo were doing.

POP-UP PARTY IN THE CAFETERIA

Students from the Princeton and Syracuse teams were eating lunch on Friday when -- all of a sudden -- they were treated by a Pop Up Party with a "Balloon Bonanza" game. Here's a video of the how the party got started and a clip of students playing the game.

AROUND AND ABOUT

Thanks to some creative and artistic student volunteers, nurses Diane Strano and Mary Rose Lombardi have a nice bulletin board outside of their office. Below are students making stir-fry chicken (in Mr. N's class) and playing a Kahoots vocabulary game (that's Mr. C in the back).
Below: Experimenting with variables & straw rockets in Mrs. S's class and that #ForceFriday feeling in the #makerspace !
