Hartford Electricians JATC Program

We offer a career in the electrical industry, not just a job. The apprentice program is a five-year program that consists of 8,000 hours of on-the-job training along with five years of related theory.  Up to sixty (60) JATC training credits can be applied toward a two or four year college degree, thereby saving you both time and expense. While working on the job, you will be learning the skills and knowledge that are required to perform the task of a state licensed and qualified electrical worker.  In the evening while attending classes, you will reinforce the skills you are learning on the job through related theory classes. If you are willing to make the commitment to the Program there is NO COST for the training.  Students only have to purchase their textbooks each year.  Apprentices employed by a contractor will not only receive a decent wage, but will also be entitled to a great benefit package including Health & Welfare, Pension, and Annuity.  First year apprentices receive Health & Welfare only.  Apprentices begin receiving Pension and Annuity benefits in their second year.
