Just Married!
Lily Zappulla and Ben DiGregorio, who met while at Illing Middle School and who each graduated from MHS, were married last Thursday and performing the ceremony was Justice of the Peace Mike Pohl, a social studies teacher who knew Lily from chaperoning when she went on the Illing DC trip as an eighth-grader. Ben is headed to Okinawa with the Marine Corps.

  • Thursday, April 20 (6:30 p.m.) -- Illing Drama Club presents "The Real Story of Little Red Riding Hood." Tickets ($3 for students and $5 for adults) available at the door.
  • Friday, April 21, 6 p.m. (doors open at 5:30) -- 'MacBeth' at Verplanck
  • Saturday, April 22 (11-3) -- Car Wash in the front of Bennet Academy to benefit all school -wide events, yearbooks, field trips, and other fun stuff!
  • Thursday, April 27, 6:00 p.m. -- Bake Sale at Bennet Academy during the Student vs. Staff Basketball Game. All proceeds go to school-wide yearbooks, trips, etc.
  • Friday, April 28 -- Zumba Relay for Life fundraiser at Verplanck
  • Saturday, April 29 (8-11 a.m.) -- Pancake breakfast baseball fundraiser at Illing
  • Friday, May 5 (7-9) p.m. -- HP fundraiser with pyschic medium Rebecca Anne LoCicero
  • Saturday, May 6 (7:30 p.m.) -- "Wild Heart" Charter Oak Music Garden fundraiser at Cheney Hall.
  • Thursday, May 25 (5:30 p.m.) --  Manchester Education Association's Retirement Reception at Manchester Country Club
