MPS Today: Friday, April 7
Nice And Comfy

Students @MPS_Buckley relax with good books, cozy furniture and a visit from Finley and her trainer Caroline Gaetano.
Strong Armed
MHS History teacher (and wrestling coach) Gerry Navarra wrestled almost 50 challengers (who paid $1 each time) during Power Hour on Thursday with proceeds going to the CT Humane Society. If anyone had beaten him they would have won a $15 gift card -- but no one did.
Contest Time
Mother's Day Contest: One student's artwork will be made into a real gold or silver pendant created by Sean's Jewelers (on Main Street). We have all the details here.
Humans of Manchester (Public Schools)
He plays golf and pool for fun these days but not too long ago was a dominant track and field athlete in the state. Meet this MHS coach by visiting the gallery on either Facebook or Instagram.
3 ... 2 ... 1
Those are Waddell third-graders (exploring minerals), second-graders (at the Children's Museum) and first-graders (exploring how gills allow fish to breathe).
