We are using a No-Flex schedule through Friday, Sept. 15 and then start to introduce the Flex Schedule.

UConn is inviting high school women, currently in their junior and senior years, to join them on campus for the day Thursday, Sept. 28th, to learn about all of the exciting possibilities they could pursue as engineering majors at UConn. Information and registration at wie.uconn.edu.

The Ron Brown scholar Program seeks to identify students who will make significant contributions to society. Applicants must excel academically, show exceptional leadership potential and make an impact on their communities through service to others. Applications postmarked by Nov. 1 will be given early consideration. Applications postmarked by January 9, final deadline, will be considered. www.ronbrown.org.

Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship - Permanent resident of New England but may attend college anywhere in the U.S. Financial need, academic excellence, commitment to serving others, strong work ethic, and leadership qualities. Thursday, Sept. 28 (6:30-9 p.m.) -- Post-secondary planning night
Saturday, Sept. 30 (7:30-10:30 p.m.) -- Welcome Back Dance
Thursday, Oct. 26, (6:30 p.m.) -- College Funding and Financial Aid Night (for parents of juniors and seniors and their students) in the MHS auditorium
