Without a doubt the best thing about being athletic director at MHS is getting to know some really amazing student-athletes, especially when I get to see them combine their talents with lots of hard work (along with guidance from our coaches and teachers!) and position themselves for success as they leave us. It's especially great to celebrate when students are recruited to play sports in college and we were able to do that again last week, as Camryn Wesoloskie committed to Bryant University. Congratulations, Cam, and I know your hard work is an inspiration to other student-athletes as they pursue their goals.

Jump Start
Cam Wesoloskie will be jumping for Bryant University next year. She was flanked by her parents when she signed her letter-of-intent at a ceremony last week.

The Week Ahead:

Monday begins as busy week as the baseball team plays at home against Tolland (at Northwest Park), the girls golf team is at home against Wethersfield (at Manchester Country Club), the girls tennis team is home against Rockville, and the boys golf and tennis teams are away (against EO Smith and Rockville, respectively).

Chad Hahn and the baseball team are 2-3 with games coming up against Tolland, Maloney, Bloomfield and Rockville this week. To see the master MHS schedule (all sports) click here.
